Kidnappers/Killers of Elder Oriji Nnadi about to be set free on a Flimsy Deal
On the 3rd of October 2015,Late Elder Oriji Nnadi was kidnapped by Cultist from his home town in Obagi,Ogba-Egbema Local Government Area and taken to a hideout in Abua,Abua Local Government Area Rivers State.
The Kidnappers began negotiation with the Family,demanding for ransom,and after the payment of ransom for the release of the 92 year Old,unknown to the Family,the Kidnappers had already buried the great grand pa.
It was later discovered that the old man died in the hands of his abductors.
Unfortunately for the Kidnappers,their contact line was being tracked when they were negotiating with the family
Investigation was later carried out by the Federal Special Anti Robbery squad,Rivers State Command and on the 8th of February 2016,the prime Suspect identified as Mr Vincent Odum was arrested at a Hotel in Aluu,Ikwerre Local Government Area Rivers State.
The Prime Suspect identified as Vincent Odum was alleged to have been the mastermind of various Kidnapping activities alongside members of his gang in Egi,Ogba Egbema-Ndoni Local Government Area Rivers State.

After intense Investigation by combined team of State Security Services(SSS) and the Special anti Robbery Squad,the prime Suspect named his accomplice in the Kidnap of Elder Nnadi,whose name was given as Osi Benson from Obagi community a nearby community in Egi Land who was in detention in SARS Facilities in Erema.
During Investigation ,the Suspects confessed that the Late Pa Oriji died before ransom was paid,and after collecting ransom,the buried him in a Shallow grave in a Hide-Out Located inside the forest in Abua -Odua Local Government Area Rivers State.
The Suspects later took the Combined Team of DSS,ARMY and FSARS to the shalo grave where Late Pa Oriji Nnadi was buried,the body was deposited at the Military Hospital Porthacourt and on the Thursday 8th December 2016,his remains was laid to rest at his Compound in Obagi ,Onelga Local Government Area Rivers State.

Investigation by PUO METRO has revealed that some Forces from Egi Land led by the King are currently pressuring the Family of the Lade Elder Oriji Nnadi to sign a Paper stating that they have Forgiven the Killers now in Prison Custody,in a bid to ensure the Cultist is released from Prison Custody.
PUO METRO exclusively gathered that the pressure being mounted at the Family Members were part of the Deal reached between a faction of Cultists in Egi Clan before they accepted the amnesty Programme of the Rivers State Government and the members of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Egi Land are the ones ensuring that the Family members Sign,so the dirty deal can be achieved.
It was gathered that some of the Children of the Late Elder Nnadi because of threat to their Lives are almost accepting to sign the purported agreement.
Elder Gilberts second son Mr Nnadi Ikechi was almost killed in an attack as part of the threats to the family members.
The names of the Egi peace committee members were gathered by PUO METRO to be : Chief Uzondu,- Eze Egi ,Azubike Dibia– Ochioha Oboburu( The suspect) elder brother , Daniel Ikeagwu– AKA Nbacho, and one Amirize Collins who recently defected from the All Progressive Congress to the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP)

It was further learnt that Chief Uzondu,- eze egi major interest for the release of the Cult boys relates to the battle for the Egi Stool,as it is being rumored that he needs the services of the boys as his stool is in contention with one Chief Egbo.

Efforts to get the comment of the Police Public Relations Officer,Rivers State Command DSP Omoni Nnamdi proved abortive,as his line was not reachable
