The Nnamdi Kanu led Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, and it’s Directorate of States yesterday said there is no more space for tyranny and repressive government in Africa, saying that the alleged repressive and tyrannical government going on in Nigeria will fissile out in no distant time.
A statement by IPOB Media and Publicity Secretary, Mr Emma Powerful said that the Free Nnamdi Kanu march in Abuja, led by Prince Deji Adeyanju shows that if people stand up for truth together at the same time there will be no space for tyranny and repressive government in Africa. IPOB therefore commended all the Pro-Demcracy groups, Concerned Nigerians and other leading activist who participated in the Free Nnamdi Kanu march in Abuja, and thanked Prince Dejl Adeyanju for his exceptional bravery and courage in the face tyrannical intimidation.
“In a society as apathetic as Nigeria, very rare breed of people can boldly stand to challenge the injustice of a judicial system frightened into obeying the dictates of a brutal dictator against every tenet and norm of democratic governance and the rule of law.
“What he and other activists have done today by their actions goes to show that if many people stand up for the truth together at the same time, there won’t be any space in Africa for tyranny and repressive regimes like the one people are forced to endure under this intellectually and morally bankrupt regime in Nigeria.” IPOB said “the concerted fight against the rights of individuals, the endless humiliation of those unfortunate to find themselves in Nigeria by the security agencies especially the police and DSS under the watch of this present tyrannical All Progressives Congress, APC, government, coupled with docile and easily manipulable judiciary must be brought to an end.” “For injustice to end the entire population must rise up as one to reject it as Deji Adeyanju has tried to do.
Prince Deji Adeyanju and his group the Pro-Democracy and Concerned Nigerian who stood against the injustice of APC Government directed against our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and others detained illegally alongside him is commendable and we welcome it.
“The step taken by Prince Deji Adeyanju and his group has shown that there are still some good people left who believe in equity and justice to all irrespective of ethnic nationality. “Our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has proven over the years that truth cannot be extinguished no matter how hard the oppressors try.
He has proven to Biafrans and Nigerians alike that it is better to stand on the truth than to be a slave in the land of your ancestors.”
