A Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Lawmaker Representing Etche Constituency 2 at the Rivers State House of Assembly Hon Tony Ejiogu has been accused by his Community of being behind the Death of Mr Mbuchi Bekeee Njoku Umuebulu in Etche Rivers State.
The accusation was contained in a Protest Letter written to the Rivers State Governor Barr Nyesom Wike by the Umuebulu Council Of Chief and Traditional,where they linked the Rivers Lawmaker to the gruesome murder of late Mr Mbuchi.
It was gathered that armed men Suspected to be Cultists Linked to Hon Tony Ejiogu murdered the father of three on the 5th of May 2017.
In the Letter to the State Governor,the Community Chiefs alleged that Hon Tony Ejiogu boasted that he will use his connections with Governor Nyesom Wike to squash the case and also convince the Governor that the murder is Political and tag the Community Members as APC People in other to secure the Release of one Mr Dan Njoku who is now cooling at the Police Command in Rivers State.
But the Interview granted to Todays Fm 95.1 by the Lawmaker is seriously making people believe that he knows about the Murder of Late Mbuchi
“I would’ve killed, I even should have killed, i haven’t even killed he was heard saying on Radio .
Some Facebook users are already calling for the Investigation of the Lawmaker
” Note: Hon Tony on 91:5FM today, referred to the deceased as mere rat. He further said and boasted that he even had other important people he could have killed in the community, Implying that the community should expect more killings, since his real targets were not met, by the death of the “rat” deceased. Security agencies should be called on to save the community from his terrors to prevent further killings in the community.Tony has effectively reduced human lives to mere rodents, fit for disposal, rid off, and can be dispensed of at any time. By his estimation, human lives in Umuebulu are as worthless and valueless as a “rat”. And this is why the entire Community strongly believe he has link to the killing of the deceased and other wounded persons. It’s unfortunate, the value and premium some people place on life”! Mr Azubuike Ihemeje said.
