A Leader of the All Progressive Congress in Rivers State and Executive Director, Marine Operations, Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA Dr. Sekonte Davies yesterday empowered his Loyalists and Followers with Wheelbarrows among other Items.
The Empowerment took place in Degema Local Government Area for Tombia/Bukuma People
Some of the beneficiaries also received Electronic Freezers among other Electronics Courtesy of the Executive Director,Marine Operations of NPA.
It will be recalled that In 2007, Dr Sekonte was a member of the House of Representatives representing the Degema/Bonny federal constituency. He was re-elected for a second term in 2011 and defected to the APC as one of the reliable followers of the Mr . Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi in 2013 against the desires, wish and pressure of some even though his former principal.
He was appointed Director, Finance and Accounts of the General Muhammadu Buhari CHANGE 2015 Presidential Campaign by President Buhari upon nomination by Mr Amaechi (the Campaign DG) .
