The Supreme Court judgment on the leadership tussle has stabilized the People’s Democratic Party, PDP
So says the national chairman of the party’s caretaker committee, senator Ahmed Makarfi.
Markafi was speaking while receiving a delegation of the PDP women forum in his office at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja
He said the party leadership would pursue reconciliation with PDP members who had either left the party or developed cold feet, even before the 2015 general elections
Earlier, the leader of the PDP women delegation, Aisha Aliyu, congratulated the Makarfi –led caretaker committee on the victory at the Supreme Court.
Aliyu said that the PDP women having supported and followed the travails of the committee in the last two years pledged to remain as trusted partners ready to champion the rebranding of the party.
