Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has assured the leaders of Bolo Council of Chiefs that his administration will execute more projects in the area.
Speaking during a courtesy visit by the Bolo Council of Chiefs at the Government House Port Harcourt on Tuesday, Governor Wike said that he will meet with stakeholders of the community to determine the major project to be executed for the people.
He said: “We will execute key projects in Bolo , but we shall do that in phases. I will meet with the stakeholders to determine whether we will start with shore protection for access to more land or the construction of internal roads.
“Once I make a promise I will fulfil it. Bolo will still continue to enjoy major appointments in my administration “.
The governor congratulated the Amayanabo of Bolo on his coronation, assuring that the State Governmemt will work with the traditional council to develop the area.
Leader of the delegation and Amayanabo of Bolo, King Achese Micah Frank commended Governor Wike for development projects in the area.
The Traditional Ruler declared that Governor Wike deserves a second term on the account of his performance.
He said the construction of Government Secondary School, Ogu is a project that will create access to education for the people.
The Traditional Ruler appealed to the governor to embark on shore protection in the community and also construct Bolo’s Internal Roads.
