The Governor of Abia State, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, is currently holding a Security Council Meeting with heads of security agencies in the state at the Exco Chambers of Government House Umuahia.
The meeting is expected to review recent security related challenges in the state with a view to taking necessary measures to further guarantee the protection of lives and properties of citizens and residents of the state.
A statement by Mr Enyinnaya Appolos,Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of of state,said Abians and residents are enjoined to remain calm and go about their lawful businesses in the state.
