Portuguese star, Cristiano Ronaldo was presented with a commemorative shirt as he made his 400th appearance for Real Madrid on Tuesday night.
Ronaldo struck twice as Los Blancos beat Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Tuesday night, his 410th and 411th goals for the club.
And his teammates presented him with the shirt on the aeroplane, with his name across the top and ‘400’ on the back.
Ronaldo took aim at his critics after the win in the Westfalenstadion which took Real to six points from their opening two Champions League matches, level with Tottenham at the top of Group H.
It was Ronaldo’s 400th game with Los Blancos since his arrival from Manchester United.
The Portuguese superstar has featured in 267 LaLiga, 30 Copa del Rey, 90 Champions League, seven Supercopa de Espana, two European Super Cup and four FIFA Club World Cup games.
Only 22 players have managed to reach the 400-appearances mark throughout the 115-year history of the club and Raul Gonzalez occupies the first spot on the list with 741 games.Having already had scored 409 goals in 399 encounters, Ronaldo is the third foreign player with most games for Real behind Roberto Carlos (527) and Marcelo (416).
