Some Leaders of the All Progressive Congress in Rivers State has asked the Senator Representing Rivers South East Senatorial District Senator Magnus Abe to declare his intention for the Partys Governorship Ticket ahead of 2019 General Election.
The Leaders made up of Former Senator’s Former and Serving House of Reps Members said their resolve to support Senator Magnus Abe was because only him can defeat the current Governor of Rivers State Barr Nyesom Wike.
Speaking at the emergency Meeting held Tana Events Center Portharcourt,a Former Senator who Represented Rivers South West Senatorial District Senator Wilson Ake,said “Those who follow Magnus Abe are those who have decided to take the path of truth. In 2015, we marched to the pitch, benching our own Lionel Messi. We lost. In 2019, we are set to face another epic match, and the coach is saying we will bench Lionel Messi again. Will you agree with that coach? It’s impossible to bench Lionel Messi in a big match you want to win .
“Magnus Abe is our own Lionel Messi and we must field him to mesmerize our opponents and deliver a magnificent victory. Supporting Magnus is no crime. Those who say it’s a crime don’t know what they are saying”.
“Wike is like a wild animal. We need someone who can tame him. In Magnus Abe is that “tamer”. Let’s unleash him”.
Also Speaking Hon Chidi Whihioka,the Member Representing Ikwerre/Emohua Federal Constituency at the National Said nobody can kill the aspiration of Senator Magnus Abe
“I speak on behalf of Rivers APC caucus in the National Assembly (House of Reps). For us, Magnus Abe is the best candidate in 2019 both for APC, PDP and all other political parties. And let me say this, nobody can kill the aspirations of Magnus Abe because it has already been decreed in the supernatural reign. Let nobody deceive you, come out, don’t be afraid, for now is the acceptable time”.
Chief Allwell Onyesoh called on the Senator to Declare his intention for the APC Ticket
“Magnus Abe is a capable politician that is 21st Century compliant. We are calling on him to declare his interest to run for governor of Rivers State in 2019. There is no time to waste”.
