Abia State Governor Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has vowed to permanently fix the Flooding Situation along Upumiri Ubakala in Umuahia South Local Government Area of the State.
Ikpeazu made the vow when he visited the Area to ascertain the current Situation and find a lasting Solution to the Flooding which has rendered the Commercial Centre of Umuahia South Local Government Area desolate, as shops has been closed due to the Flood.
PUO REPORTS that most of the Building and Shops were erected at the waterways,making it difficult for them to smoothly pass across.
Ikpeazu who was received by the Chairman of Umuahia South Local Government Area Hon Obioma Ezeogbular promised to find a lasting Solution to the flooding Situation.
