Tony Okocha,A Former Chief of Staff to Former Rivers State Governor Chibuike Amaechi has advised the Rivers State Chapter of the All Progressive Congress not to make a mistake that will cost the APC the Governorship seat in 2019.
Okocha who has showed an open support to Senator Magnus Abe said Amaechi should allow Members of the All Progressive Congress to choose popular candidate as a Governorship candidate of the APC in Rivers State.
“In 2007 we followed Rt Hon. Rotimi Amaechi because we believed he was unjustly treated, he was in a war against injustice and we were side by side with him.
In 2014, there was the 16 greater than 19 saga and we felt this was a great injustice to our democracy, therefore we did not relent in following him ,we moved with him to the new PDP and finally settled with the APC.
“It is unfortunate that the same man who have championed the fight against injustice is now the pioneer of injustice and we therefore said no”.
All along we have been fighting injustice and we can not stop now, Abe is for justice , those who surport senator Magnus Abe in APC are surporting a just course”.
“If APC fields a candidate different from senator Magnus Ngei Abe,wike will travel abroad and come back a day before election to win”
