Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike was copiously absent yesterday during the visit of the Vice President Prof Yemi Osibanjo to Rivers State.
Osibanjo who came to Flag off the Construction of Bonny-Bodo Road was accompanied in the exercise by the Minister of Power Mr Raji Fashola,Senator Representing Rivers South East in the Senate Senator Magnus Abe and the Director General Of NIMASA Dr Dakuku Peterside.
A Government House Source who spoke to PUO REPORTS on Thursday Evening said Governor Wike is not happy that he is being boycotted to invite the Vice President to the State.
The Source also said Governor Nyesom Wike was around but refused showing face throughout the visit of the Vice President instead sent his Deputy Ipalibo Banigo and other State Government Functionaries to receive the Vice President
