Governor Muhammed Bindow Jibirila of Adamawa State has described Igbo people as advantaged and peaceful.
While commending Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for the mature way he handled the recent crisis that rocked Abia state, the Adamawa State Governor assured that Ndigbo are protected in all parts of the north.
The Adamawa State Governor also praised the developmental strides of Governor Ikpeazu whom he described as a man of unmatchable achievements.
The Adamawa State Governor was speaking at the burial ceremony of the late Architect Ndubuisi Uche at Igbere in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State.
Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, in his address, described the late Ndubuisi Uche as having “fought the good fight and triumphantly returned to his maker” and told those gathered at the funeral service that the day calls for sober reflection for those alive on earth. He noted that It is painful for parents to bury their children but are consoled that the deceased impacted the world while alive and come from a hard working family that will ensure that those he left behind will not suffer.
Governor Ikpeazu who called on everyone to continue to pray for the bereaved family reminded the family of the deceased that he left responsibilities for them that must be achieved through growing his legacies.
Late Arch Endy Uche was the younger brother of eminent lawyer, Chief Chris Uche, SAN. Other prominent Nigerians at the burial Include the former Governor of Kogi State, Idris Wadda, and his Imo state counterpart, Ikedi Ohakim.
