A member of the House of Representatives Hon Solomon Adaelu has resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP),PUO REPORTS has learnt.
Solomon Adaelu is the Lawmaker Representing Obingwa/Osisioma/Ugwunagbo Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.
He was elected on the Platform of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) In 2015.
Solomon Adaelu is the Son of Chief Emmanuel Adaelu an elder statesman from Ngwa land in Osisioma LGA of Abia Central Senatorial District of Abia State.
However PUO REPORTS has exclusively gathered that the recent refusal of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu to abide by some certain views of Chief Emmanuel Adaelu is the reason for the Political showdown between the Ikpeazu’s and Adaelu’s
It will be recalled that Chief Emmanuel Adaelu was among some Elder Statemen from Ngwa Land that insisted for a power shift to Abia South Senatorial Zone in 2015.
“The Governors insistence to be allowed to choose his men did not go down well with Chief Emmanuel Adaelu” a Source said on Tuesday.
It was also gathered that Hon Solomon Adaelu had on several occasions Insulted the Governor of Abia State Dr Okezie Ikpeazu.
PUO REPORTS gathered that Hon Solomon Adaelu stopped his Father Chief Emmanuel Adaelu from receiving Governor Okezie Ikpeazu few weeks ago,a situation viewd as an insult to the Abia State Governor.
An aide to Hon Solomon Adaelu said the Adaelu’s Family are done with the Peoples Democratic Party.
Hon Solomon Adaelu had been having secret meetings with the Leadership Chapter of the All Progressive Congress(APC) IN Abia State and may likely announce his defection before the 11th of November 2017
