Majority Leader of the Abia State House of Assembly and Member Representing Bende North State Constituency at the Abia State House of Assembly Hon Chinedum Orji has been endorsed for a Second Term in Office by his Immediate Constituents.
The Endorsement followed assurances by the Wards making up Umuahia Central State Constituency of their 100% Total Support for his Re-election in 2019.
Hon Chinedum Orji who on Saturday December 23rd 2017 embarked on the Distribution of Christmas Gifts and Mega empowerment of the Umuahia Central State Constituency said he personally resolved to Supervise the Distribution of the Items because before now,some of the empowerment he had carried out in the past had been hijack by some Individuals.
The Christmas Gift/Empowerment included 600 Bags of Rice,4000 Wrappers,15 Scholarship to indigent students from Umuahia Central State Constituency,Cows and Financial Support.
Speaking at Amuzukwu Town Hall opposite the Amuzukwu Health Centre Urbanb11 Umuahia North Local Government Area Of Abia State where he held the First Empowerment,the Lawmaker urged the people of Amuzukwu to ensure the Items reached both the Non-Indigenes living and doing Businesses in their Area.
“You must ensure that those who are not from Amuzukwu both Lives here,pays House Rents here and doing Businesses here benefited from this because they are part of my Constituency too”
The Lawmaker Visited Wards Located at St Stephens Primary School,Amaokwe Ugba Wards,Afaraukwu Wards,Olokoro ,Umulobia Ugba where he Supervised the Gifting of the ITEMS.
Some of the Beneficiaries of his Scholarship appreciated Hon Chinedum Orji for easing the burden of their Educational Pursuits by handling the payment of their Various School Fees.
He was unanimously endorsed for a second term in Office by his Constituents
