Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has announced that his administration has awarded the contract for the complete rehabilitation of Osusu Road Aba.
The Governor said this today while addressing his first parley with his media aides and journalists from different media organizations covering the Government House.
He said that the design of the road is such that the drainages will be prefabricated at a different location and brought there to the site and be fixed before the main construction commences shortly after.
The new Osusu Road is designed to complement the on going works at Faulks Road.
Osusu Road has been in a terribly dilapidated state for the past 13 years now.
Ikpeazu told the newsmen that from the ashes of the current dilapidated road will rise a new Osusu Road that will be a beauty to behold and make every Aba person proud.
Osusu Road is a key and strategic Road in Aba.
The Governor assured that Omuma Road will be next to follow.
He also said that work has resumed at the Agbama Ring Road Umuahia while work on the Abiriba Nkporo Road is expected to hit Nkporo town before the current dry season ends.
