Leaders of the All Progressive Congress(APC) in Rivers State has called on Supporters to resist any attempt by the Peoples Democratic Party to Write Results in 2019 in the State.
The Party Leaders who spoke in Kpite Tai Local Government Area of Rivers State on Saturday also vowed to Install a Governor of the All Progressive Congress(APC) come 2019 in Rivers State.
The Leaders while Inaugurating Ward Chairmen of the Free Rivers Development Initiative urged Ogoni People not to mind those Championing the call for a Governorship Candidate of the Party from Ogoni Extraction.
“Rivers State is a mult-ethnic Group,Ogoni’s needs the support of Ikwerre,Okrika,Ekpeye,Ogba-Egbema and Engenni to be Governor,dont allow them deceive you that it is Ogoni People their Turn to be Governor,when it is Ogoni People their,we all will support you people” Hon Asita O Honourable the 2015 Deputy Governorship candidate of the APC Said.
The Former Governor of Rivers State and Minister of Transportation RT Hon Chibuike Amaechi who was Represented by Engr. Sampson Ngerebara the President General of Free Rivers Development Initiative said that President Muhammadu has assured him that Votes will count in 2019.
“Our Leader Chibuike Amaechi ask me to tell you people that President Muhammadu Buhari has assured him that Votes will Count in 2019,he also said i should tell you to Push anyone who Push in 2019” He Said.
PUO REPORTS that the Lawmaker Representing Tai,Oyigbo/Eleme Federal Constituency Hon Barry Mpigi and the Senator Representing Rivers South East in the Senate Senator Magnus Abe did not attend the Rally.
