Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has renamed Portharcourt Poly Rumuola to Elechi Amadi Poly Rumuola.
The entire management of the above stated institution wishes to inform the general public that; henceforth the Polytechnic should be refered and addressed as ELECHI AMADI POLYTECHNIC in all correspondence and activities involving, in connection with or relating to the Polytechnic.
This has become necessary in view of the official policy statement, declaration and pronouncement of the Governor of Rivers State and Visitor to the Polytechnic, His Excellency, Chief Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, CON, GSSRS, to the effect that the name of the institution has been changed from Port Harcourt Polytechnic to Elechi Amadi Polytechnic.
