Officers from the Zone 9 of the Nigerian Police Force has arrested Six Suspected Thugs who were sent by Rev Paul Emeka to attack Worshipers of Assemblies Of God Church 2 Uzuakoli in Uzuakoli Section of Umuahia North Jerusalem District of the General Council of Assemblies Of God Nigeria .
Recall that that Last Sunday 28 January 2018,the Entire Presbytery with the express Permission and Supervision of the Nigerian Police Force in Abia State took over the Church auditorium which was before now on the custody one Rev Paul Nwachi a Loyalist of Rev Paul Emeka who lost in February 2017 at the Supreme Court.
It was gathered that the positive News did not go down well with Rev Paul Emeka who commissioned the Suspended Former Umuahia District Superintendent Rev Daniel Amaugo to hire the Services of thugs and take back AGC Uzuakoli 2 Church.
Rev Amugo it was learnt, appointed an indigent Pastor from Uzuakoli and transferred him to that Church all in a bid to score cheap ethnic points and stop the Church Members from opposing their Brother.
While Worshippers were holding their Sunday Service today February 4th 2018,about Six Suspected thugs stormed into the Church Premises and started dragging Microphone with the New Pastor of the Church,pushing some of the Members before the Police got wind of the Development and arrived at the Scene.
Police arrested Six of them and immediately drove them to Headquarters of the Nigerian Police Zone 9 in Umuahia.
A Police Source told PUO REPORTS that the Six Suspects arrested will learn in a very hard way for disobeying the directives of the Inspector General Of Police not to disturb the peace in the Church.
The District Superintendent of Umuahia North Jerusalem District Rev James Ndukwe,the District Secretary Rev Prince Okoro among other Presbyters of the District took part in the Church Service today.
