“It is a rare privilege to be given the opportunity by the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwunsi to present this car gift to the winner. It is also interesting to have a man like kabiyesi at this age and time reviving culture – a time when internet has taken over our everyday life including our culture. You can easily observe that almost everything is online except for people like kabiyesi who believes that our cultural heritage is our dignity and pride and cannot be dictated by technology or internet.
The story of Queen Moremi is refreshing and Kabiyesi has proved that our roots are intact through his understanding of the culture which he promotes vigorously. For the new queen, Oluwatosin Shola Shittu who also happens to hail from my state, Ekiti State, I will say she has made us proud and brought honour to Ekitiland. We wish her well on her new role as the armour bearer of Queen Moremi Ajasoro virtues and also believed as a true daughter of Ekiti, she will live to our expectations.
” The initiator and project coordinator of Queen Moremi Ajasoro Cultural Beauty pageant,Princess Ronke Ademiluyi, in her well-wish said that Oluwatosin has proven through her performances during the contest that she will make a worthy ambassador. She also advised her to pursue her visions and pet projects vigorously.
