The Lawmaker Representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency Hon Uko Nkole has been advised to put a stop to the current disrespect and sponsoring of media attacks against Senator Mao Ohuabunwa the Senator Representing Abia North Senatorial District.
The Group under the Umbrella of Abia North Progressives(ANP) in a statement signed by its President Hon Ndubuisi Okoroafor and made available to newsmen on Monday wondered why”Hon Nkole would continue to insult the personality of Senator Mao Ohuabunwa”
The Group accused Hon Uko Nkole of Nursing a Governorship ambition which is the reason behind all the Insults and attacks on our Distinguished Senator Mao Ohuabunwa.
“We are worried and still wondering why Uko Nkole a Newbie in the Politics of Abia North could continue to insult the Personality of Senator Mao Ohuabunwa a ranking member of the National Assembly who has within his 3Years in the Senate attracted several Federal Government Project to the People of Abia North”
“We are not also unawares of the Governorship ambition of Hon Uko Nkole which has already made him feel on top of the World, without respect and regard to the Elders and Political Leaders of Abia North Senatorial District”
“If we may ask Hon Nkole,how many projects has he attracted to his own People of Abam who has vowed to stop his re-election in 2019?,even his closs allies from Arochukwu Local Government Area has cautioned him to stop insulting their brother who politically is the Leader of Abia North Senatorial District”
Continuing, the group said the current claim by the Member for Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency that Senator Mao Ohuabunwa copied his Bill is Childish, Provocative and Laughable.
“It is on record,that Senator Mao Ohuabunwa during his re-election campaign in 2016 Promised the people of ITEM in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State that if re-elected,he will sponsor a Bill for the Establishment of a Federal Polytechnic in ITEM”
“The Land where the Polytechnic would be sited has already been carved out,can Uko Ukole tell us where the so called Abariba Polytechnic would be sited in Abariba?,it is now clear to us,that Uko Nkole is the one copying Senator Mao” the Group Concluded.
