As Nigerian joins the rest of the world to mark Valentine’s Day on Wednesday, the National Agency for the Control of AIDS has called on Nigerians especially youths not to engage in unprotected sex.
The DG of NACA, Dr. Sani Aliyu, was quoted as saying this in a statement as he advised youths to use the occasion to show love and present gifts to friends rather than engaging in illicit sex.
Valentine’s Day is renowned for being the ‘most romantic day of the year’.
And many of us use it as an opportunity to show affection for our loved ones with cards, flowers or chocolates.
