Imo State Govt Expresses Willingness to Support Online Media Convention (Owerri2018)
The Imo State Government has expressed Willingness to Support the National Convention of the Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria(OMPAN) coming up later this March.
The Convention which is billed to hold in Owerri the Imo State Capital will have in attendance Online Media Practitioners across the 36 States of the Federation and the FCT.
Speaking on Monday, onbehalf of OMPAN, the National President, Emeh James Anyalekwa, who led a delegation to the IMO State Government House, said the Choice of Imo State for the Convention was for Online Media Practitioners in Nigeria to have the ability to see for themselves the Giant Strides of the Owelle Led Administration in Imo State and also verify some of the negative news coming out from the state.
Speaking for the Imo State Government, the Chief of Staff, Chief Uche Nwosu who represented the state governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, expressed Willingness to Support the Convention.
He said the State Government is a media friendly government, and will contribute to the success of the Convention.
He also thanked the Association for choosing the state for this very important event.
Other Members of the Association who were part of the Delegation are Evang Promise Uzoma Okoro (PRO)Comr Ifeanyi Okali Ubaka(Treasurer)and Prince Ikem from the Imo State Chapter.
The Association will soon make Public the Date of the Convention.
