Mr. Oriaku noted that Governor Ikpeazu have continued to run a frugal government thereby utilizing the State resources into building lasting projects and teaching Abians how to fish rather than giving them fish as it is in the case of Abia-China automated shoemaking trainees sent to China by the State to enhance their craftsmanship.
The commissioner also noted that Governor Ikpeazu is working round the clock to reclaim the lost glory of the State through aggressive agricultural development policies to make it less reliant on federal allocation hence the State embarked on the plantation of the highly commercial Tenera palm tress with a target of hitting 7m palms before 2020.
He enumerted some of the laudable projects of Ikpeazu’s administration to include the Osisioma interchange, the the rebuilding of failed Faulks, Portharcourt roads, Arochukwu bridge among others and noted that Ikpeazu’s takes Abia projects as what he is building for himself as no man gives himself what is below standard.
