A Federal High Court 2 Presided over by Hon. Justice Rosemary Dugbo-Oghoghorie this Morning refused an Ex Parte Application brought by a Former General Superintendent Of Assemblies Of God Nigeria Rev Paul Emeka seeking an order to restrain the Registered trustees of the Church from Recovering the Properties of the Church.
Paul Emeka through his Lawyers numbering 5 today Monday 23rd April 2018 brought an exparte motion asking for an injunction restraining the Registered Trustees of Assemblies Of God Nigeria from the current Recovering of properties/Assets of the Church at his Possession.
The Court insisted that they must put the Registered trustees of Assemblies Of God Nigeria on Notice in their Suit.
The Court refused the Application and insisted on hearing of the application proper and ordered that hearing notices be served on the Church stressing that the Court has the Right of Defence.
It was adjourned for further mention
