The Registered Trustees of Assemblies Of God Nigeria has been Ordered to without delay recover all its Properties being occupied by those Dismissed by the Church.
The Edo High Court in a Clear Judgement today Thursday 10th May 2018 ruled that Paul Emeka and his Followers don’t have the right to occupy any Property belonging to the Registered Trustees of Assemblies Of God Nigeria by virtue of a Dismissal and the February 24th 2017 Judgement of the Supreme Court.
The Edo State High Court sitting in Benin City Edo State presided over by His Lordship Hon. Justice D.I Okungbowa today 10/5/18 dismissed Suit No B/128/OS/17 filed by Emeka Treasurer (Rev. Best Aikhatuamen) & Rev. Joel Okogele vs the General Council Members Rev. P.T Ekeasi & Ors. Emeka stooges had asked the Court to interpret the Supreme Court Judgment and to restrain the General Council from relying on the same Supreme Court Judgment to recover the church property.
The Court held that it cannot interpret the Supreme Court Judgment as the Supreme Court had earlier upheld the dismissal of Rev. Emeka as the GS of the Church.
The Court dimissed the the suit as lacking in merit and directed Emeka and his Stooges to pay the church N20,000. as cost for the frivolous suit.
According to the Judge,Paul Emeka and his Cronies lacks the Locus Standi to commence any suit against the Registered Trustees of Assemblies Of God Nigeria.
