Assemblies Of God Nigeria Retires Rev Prof Paul Ajah
The General Council of Assemblies Of God Nigeria today 17th May 2018 at the Pentecostal Theological Seminary Eleme Retired Rev Prof Paul Ajah from active Ministry after 51 Years of Service to God and The Church.
Rev Prof Paul Ajah born in 1949 in an ancient Town called Uburu in Ohaozara division In Ebonyi State Nigeria.
Prof Ajah got Converted and went to Bible School in 1967 but due to the Nigerian Civil War he Graduated in 1973.
He Spent only Seven Years as A Pastor and 44Years as a Bible School Teacher under the General Council of Assemblies Of God Nigeria.
In 1991 he became a head of Bible School incharge of now Assemblies Of God Seminary Ogoja Cross Rivers State .
Prof Ajah was the First Indeginous President of the Premier Bible Institution the Assemblies Of God Divinity School of Nigeria Old Umuahia Abia which under his watch was affiliated to the University of UYO.
Rev Prof Paul Ajah was Transferred in 2008 to then Rivers Bible College now Pentecostal Theological Seminary Eleme Rivers where he is finishing Strong today from active Ministry.
The Director of Education Assemblies Of God Nigeria Rev Dr Israel Godswill in his Citation Titled”An Ecclesiastical Institution Described Rev Prof Paul Ajah as a man of Excellence,A Falculty of Falculties,a Leader of Repute,an Academic Icon,a Living Legend of Theological Cum Ministerial Extraction,a Pastor of Pastors among others.
The General Superintendent of Assemblies Of God Nigeria Rev Dr Chidi Okoroafor Described Rev Prof Paul Ajah as an Accomplished Professor who has impacted Positively to several Theological Scholars within and outside Nigeria.
The Retired General Superintendent of Assemblies Of God Nigeria Rev Dr Charles Osueke who prayed after the Message by the General Superintendent asked God to Sustain the Ajah’s as their father bows out from active Ministry .
Top Dignitaries Including the Commissioner for Education in Ebonyi State who led a Delegation from Ebonyi State Government,Executive Committee members of Assemblies Of God Nigeria,Unit Heads etc.
Highpoint of the Event was the Presentation of the Book by the Retiring Proffesor.
