Abia State Governor Dr Okezie Ikpeazu said that the state is nothing without the input and Ingenuity of the Old Bende People.
Ikpeazu said the combined Efforts of notable Personalities from the Old Bende Extraction added to the Democratic dividends enjoyed by the entire Abia State.
The Governor was speaking on Friday in Umuahia the Abia State Capital during a Declaration Rally organized in his honour by The Old Bende People.
The people of Old Bende unanimously adopted Governor Okezie Ikpeazu as the Governorship candidate for the 2019 Governorship election in the State.
Rev Ibeabuchi Agwu on behalf of the Old Bende Ministers Forum said that God has Anointed Ikpeazu as Abia State Governor come 2019.
The Declaration Rally was attended by Senators Theodore Orji and Mao Ohuabunwa of Abia North and Central Senatorial District among others .
