The Court of Appeal sitting in Portharcourt the Rivers State Capital has granted a Stay of Execution to a Faction of the All Progressives Congress led by Chief Ojukaye Flag Amachree.
Granting the stay of execution on the interlocutory injunction ordered by the state High Court on May 11th 2018, the Court said the issue of who is to attend its National Convention rest on the National Legal Adviser of the All Progressives Congress.
The Court of Appeal however refused to grant request for stay of proceeding on the substantive suit at the state High Court which comes up 29th June 2018.
The mandatory order of the Rivers State High Court on 30th of May 2018 which nullified the APC Congresses in Rivers State was not appealed
