Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe the Senator Representing Abia South Senatorial District on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) has been battling with many troubles, ranging from political to Sponsoring Proscribed (IPOB).
Abaribe who has been in the Senate since 2007, making him the most ranking Senator in from Abia State , found himself as a ‘special guest’ of the Department of State Security(DSS) some weeks ago.
Regarded as one of the recent outspoken Senator , the Obingwa -born lawmaker has never had it this rough in his political career as since 2017, it has been from one trouble to another.
The former Deputy Governor of Abia State suddenly increased his presence at the National Assembly because of his Desperation to return to the Senate for the 4th Time.
Abaribe is noted in Abia as the only Senator whose stay at the Senate for Twelve Years has been a monumental Failure following his inability to attract development to Aba where his Campaign office is even Situated.
Although an Ngwa Man, but Abaribe even within the Peoples Democratic Party is known as a Stingy Politician who has failed to empower his Constituents for the Twelve Years he about spending at the National Assembly.
Abaribe who has suddenly branded himself as the Voice of Ndi Igbo forgot so easily his Otu Onu Slogan which catapulted him to the National Assembly in 2007, maybe the Senator is banking one the gullibility of some followers go return back to the Senate in 2019.
The Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) on whose platform he had been in the Senate must rise and defend Equity slogan that brought Governor Okezie Ikpeazu to power in 2015.
In 2015,Abaribe was the only Returning Senator despite staying in the Senate for Eight Years.
Apart from failure to empower and attract Federal Government Project to his District, the issue of equity is another factor that is against Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe.
Abia South Senator District is made up of Obingwa, Ugwunagbo, Aba North, Aba South, Ukwa East, Ukwa West, Osisioma Ngwa Local Government Areas,The Governor of Abia State Dr Okezie Ikpeazu is from Obingwa and Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe is also from the same Local Government Area, thereby making Aba Zone of the District clamour for the Abia South Senator Ticket.
Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe is not performing, hence let him. Honorably forget about 2019.
Politics is about empowerment and there is no gain saying that The Senator Representing Abia South Senatorial District has failed and must save his face by stepping down for a Fresh Senator for Abia South in 2019.
