The 2018 National Assemblies of God Strategic Church Growth Summit for North Central Zone 1 and North West Zone begins at the National Worship Center Garki Abuja.
The General Superintendent Of Assemblies Of God Nigeria Rev Dr Chidi Okoroafor, Assistant General Superintendent of Assemblies Of God Nigeria Rev Pst Ejikeme Ejim, General Secretary Rev Dr Godwin Amaowoh and General Treasurer Rev Dr Vincent Alaje are all in attendance.
The Executive Committee Members Representing North Central Zone 1 and North West Zone Rev C. N Ogbuji and Rev Bawa Gadima are also in attendance.
Rev M. K Ogubola the Apapa District Superintendent came with the First Expansion Ingredient for the Abuja Zone Summit.
According to Papa Ogubola in his Paper , “If you want Result, you must anchor it on Somebody” He Said goal will keep people busy while time makes them serious.
The General Superintendent Of Assemblies Of God Nigeria Rev Dr Chidi Okoroafor in his Welcome address said Assemblies Of God Nigeria has come of age.
“Expectations are very high on Assemblies Of God Nigeria. The leadership has therefore decided to bring the Church to a comprehensive diagnostic Centre and further to the theatre if need be. The Church shall at the end of the day be placed on necessary diets and Spiritual medications. This is because this Church cannot die or decay in our time. There is an absolute resolve that this Church must expand. No Circumstances shall stop the move”
“In the same Vein, there is need to ask certain diagnostic questions. Are we really alive? Is the Church really growing or swelling? What are the vital signs of the Church Life? Do we have enabling atmosphere for healthy growth? Is she sick? Are there Spiritual termites, viruses and influenza that have bewitched the Church? Do we need to perform any surgery on the Church and remove any sickness that will not her expand the way God Wants.
“It is no longer news that the Church is experiencing mass exodus of her marketplace members and even students? What has gone Wrong? Are Areas the Church needs to improve in order to attract marketplace membership? Why is the Church losing young ones by day? There must be Strategic and deliberate attempt to stop this anomaly. Then, how far has our worship centers served the Purpose of their existence or Formation”
