Dr Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso today at Ahuoma Villa Okafia Igbere Bende Local Government Area of Abia Declared his Intention to run for the Bende Federal Constituency at the National.
Chief Rocks Emma the Chairman of the Occasion in his Speech said Dr Chima Anyaso is Qualified the people of Bende at the Federal House of Representatives.
“We have come here to see someone among us who has said he wants to Represent Bende People,Just like during Marriage Rights, so many Suitors come to marry your Daughter but it is not all people you invite your Umunna to come and Witness”
“We have come here to witness this Occasion because Dr Chima Anyanso is Eminently Qualified to Represent Bende At the Federal House Of Representatives” He Said.
The Declaration of Dr Chima Anyaso was witnessed by major Stakeholders in Bende Local Government Area including Chief Jerry Kalu,Chief Obike Mascort the Commissioner For Boundary Matters, Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party in Bende Local Government who Represented the Party Chairman, Chief Emma Omeokwe among others,Traditional Rulers in Bende Among others.
In his Declaration Speech Dr Chima said his Belive that Bende Federal Constituency can be rebuilt anew is not just out of enthusiastic optimism.
“Today is a Date with Destiny. A Day when Bussinessmen, community leaders and politicians have left their Various engagement and set aside ideological differences to gather here to seek a better deal for our beloved Bende”
“I am sure you have not come here to see me nor have you come to eat and drink, but you have come because of your belive in a better and brighter future for our beloved Bende And indeed Abia State. In the light of this knowledge I am assured that in this journey I Will never walk alone because we have in you men and women who will not rest until Bende reaps the full dividends of Democracy.
Speaking further Dr Anyaso said his ambition to Represent Bende Federal Constituency is not for his own interest but the entire Bende Interest.
“The Reason why I chose this declaration in my house is for me to know you and you to know me, so that anytime you have any issues, you can channel it here”
“I am unashamedly loyal to Bende and my antecedent proves this beyond reasonable doubt to every one who knows me well enough. So in times like this when our Villages and communities are facing uncertain fate, a time when hunger and poverty has almost turned our Communities into ghost towns it behooves on those of us who claim to love our people to stand up in defense of the defenseless, to fight for the betterment of the lives of those who whom God have given us the responsibility to Protect”
“Ladies and Gentlemen the task ahead of us is enormous so we must work together and to all of us gathered here today let us see beyond the periphery, let us look beyond politics of personal interest and put Bende First. It is time to rebuild, repair and rehabilitate not just broken infrastructure but broken Relationships, broken societal values and ethics, broken systems, broken attitude to life and broken aspirations and Goals. It is time to engender new hope, time to make promise that will not be broken, time to pledge unflinching loyalty to the communities that shaped our Lives and made us what we are today, it is time For Bende “He Said.
He said the Struggle to Rebuild Bende is General Struggle because Bende Comes First.
He promised not to disappoint Bende people at the House of Representatives.
Speaking on behalf of Bende Traditional Rulers Eze Engineer Patrick Udeh Chairman of Bende Council Of Traditional Rules urged Dr Chima Anyaso to work hard and Convince his Party to give him the ticket and leave the rest for the Traditional in Bende.
“Once you are given the Party Ticket, We shall give you a Chieftain Title for you to move Forward” He Said.
