Awka Capital Territory Development Authority, ACTDA, has expressed its determination to partner with the Association of Online Media Practioners of Nigeria, OMPAN, with a call that the menace of character assassination should be put to an end.
The call came from the Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ACTDA, Venerable Amaechi Okwuosa, when members of the Anambra State chapter of the association paid him a courtesy visit at his office in Awka.
Okwuosa briefed the team on the history of ACTDA, stressing that it’s record of development was meant to attract foreign investors, control the development processes and maintain standards.
The ACTDA boss emphasised that the agency has an approved standard master plan for developers to use, which according to him would reduce constant collapse of buildings and make them adhere to set rules to maintain orderliness.
Earlier, the state chapter of the Association, led by its Chairman, Mike Nwachukwu, explained that the visit became imperative to enable the Association spread the achievements of the agency to the public.
