▪says electoral violence won’t stop the re-election of Governor Wike
Lawmaker Representing Omuma State Constituency at the Rivers State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Kelechi Nwogu has berated the Factional Chairman of APC Rivers State, Mr Ojukaye Flag Amachree for electoral violence during the cancelled Port Harcourt State Constituency Three Election.
The State Lawmaker emphasised to all leaders of the APC in Rivers State that their resort to violence won’t stop the re-election of Governor Wike in 2019.
In a Facebook Exchange with the Factional Chairman, Rt Hon Kelechi Nwogu described the electoral violence by Ojukaye Flag Amachree as unconstitutional.
He regretted that the Special Anti-Robbery Squad accompanied Ojukaye Flag Amachree to snatch ballot boxes and card readers.
He said: “We have a few days to the election. We will re-elect Governor Wike. There is nothing the APC can do about it, because Rivers people are satisfied with the performance of Governor Wike.
While reminding Rivers APC that nobody has monopoly of violence, Nwogu declared that Rivers is a PDP State.
Commenting on the thread, Factional Rivers State APC Chairman, Ojukaye Flag Amachree claimed that the outing at Port Harcourt State Constituency Three indicated that the APC working with the security will win the state.
