The All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended the deadline for the sale and submission of its nomination forms for presidential, governorship, National Assembly and House of Assembly aspirants.
The party earlier this week published the timetable of the party showing its schedule of activities in preparation for the 2019 general elections.
According to the timetable, sale of forms was to last five days from September 5 to September 10.
However, in a statement on Friday by its publicity secretary, Yekini Nabena, the party said it has extended the deadline from September 10 to September 11.
“The All Progressives Congress (APC) has extended the deadline for the sale and submission of presidential, governorship, National Assembly and House of Assembly forms to Tuesday, September 11, 2018.”
All aspirants for the positions listed are expected to submit their duly completed forms to the APC National Secretariat and the party’s state secretariats in the case of Houses of Assembly on or before the close of work of the new deadline.
