In 2015,Assemblies Of God Nigeria in Kaduna State made Headlines on National Newspapers,Televisions and Major Blogs due to the onslaught against the Church,when followers of Rev Paul Emeka,a Former General Superintendent of Assemblies attacked the Church Properties.
Student Pastors of our Seminary in Saminaka,Pupils of the District Secondary School,Patients in the Church Hospital were attacked by thugs sponsored by one Rev Simon Jimoh who was Dismissed alongside Rev Paul Emeka.
Governor Nasir El-Rufai the Kaduna State Governor who was barely One Year in Office as the State Governor summoned the Two Factions of the Church laying claims to several Assemblies Of God Properties in Kaduna State,after being briefed the Kaduna State Government for the Interest of Justice and Fairness took Possession of the embattled Properties.
Rev Yakubu Pam,a Self acclaimed Chairman of Northern CAN used his position to misinform some Top Goverment Officials in the North about the realities on ground in Assemblies Of God Nigeria,but God was with the Church.
To the Glory of God,on the 24th of Febraury 2017,the Supreme Court in a unianimous and Landmark Judgement Dismissed the Appeal filed by Rev Paul Emeka,ruled that Assemblies Of God Nigeria was right to Dismiss him as a Minister and went further to say that it was not his right to be General Superintendent.
Despite Losing at the APEX Court in Nigeria,Rev Paul Emeka boasted that his contacts will manipulate Security agencies in his Favour over the Properties of Assemblies Of God Nigeria.
The Church Presented the Certified True Copies of the Judgement to the Kaduna State Government ,yet Rev Paul Emeka and his cohorts claimed the Supreme Court did not rule against him,ofcourse weeping may endure for a night,but Joy Comes in the Morning.
The General Council of Assemblies Of God Nigeria continued in their Prayers,at a certain Point the Kaduna State Government was advised by the enemies of the Church to Demolish the Properties of Assemblies Of God Nigeria or turn them to Mosque.
It Takes a Man of Integrity,a Man of Justice like Governor El-Rufai to Direct that all the Properties of the Church be handed over to the Registered Trustees of Assemblies Of God Nigeria at no Cost,No Stress nor even Legal Battles.
Indeed El-Rufai is a man of Justice.
The Governors of Abia,Enugu,Edo,Delta,Akwa Ibom,Bayelsa should follow the step of the Kaduna State Government by handing over all the Properties of Assemblies Of God Nigeria to the Registered Trustees.
Since Rev Paul Emeka and his Followers has Refused to embrace the Generous OLIVE Branch,the Church must March Forward
