The Primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party For Abia Central Senatorial District held at The Hall of the Umuahia Township Stadium and was Chaired Prince Ezekwesiri Ananaba.
Six Local Government Areas of Umuahia North and South, Osisioma, Isialangwa North and South and Ikwuano Local Government Area voted at the Just Concluded Peaceful Primaries.
Announcing the Result, the Returning Officer said Senator Orji Polled 489 Vallid Votes from 500 Accredited Delegates
