The All Progressives Congress direct primary election held across the 184 wards and 17 LGA,s in Abia state, Tuesday, saw Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah emerge victorious as the overall winner of the election, Dr. Ogah polled 86,875 votes to defeat his closest rival Rt. Hon. Martins Azubuike, who scored a total of 10,889 votes.
The results were announced by the chairman of the APC Abia Primary Election Committee declaring Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah the party’s flag bearer for the 2019 governorship election
