Abia state deputy governor, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu at a PDP rally organized by the people of Nkporo in Ohafia local government says the party has no opposition in the area.
Sir Oko Chukwu who spoke at the Etitiama Nkporo Community School field venue of the rally said that rather remnants of those in the opposition parties are now embracing state ruling party being a moving train that would help them actualise their ambition and attract democratic dividends for their people.
He appreciated the Nkporo people for keeping faith and standing solidly behind the PDP ably led by Gov. Okezie lkpeazu and assured the people of Nkporo that the party would never forsake them as they have demonstrated this by choosing him as the running mate to the governor.
On the bad road network in the area, the deputy governor assured that once rain stops, the on going roads project would be completed.
Earlier, the founder Okocha Uchenna Foundation, Chief Uchenna Okocha pledged the peoples’s support to OVI/UOC candidature come 2019.
He commended the present administration under Gov Okezie lkpeazu for his wonderful transformation going on in all the three senatorial zones of the state
Also speaking, the Senior Special Assistant to governor on Grassroots Mobilization, Chief Kalu Asiri lauded the governor for what he has been doing for the people of the area.
In their separate speeches, the Senior Special Assistants to governor on Grassroots Mobilization, Elder Mrs Nnenna Ogbuagu, Mrs Joy Nduka Uba and Barr Ruth kalu all said that the people of Nkporo are solidly behind the PDP led state govt and assured the deputy governor that they support the re-election of the governor and his deputy and other candidates under the PDP platform come 2019.
