Femi Adesina, spokesman to President Muhammadu Buhari, has announced that the West African Examination Council (WAEC) has presented a certificate to the President.
He made the disclosure via his Twitter handle on Friday afternoon.
The whereabouts of the President’s certifocate has generated much debate in the build-up to the 2019 general election, just as it did in pre-2015, after the President claimed in an affidavot that his certifocate was with the Nigerian Army.
However, Adesina seemed to clear the air on the issue with the tweet which read: “WAEC presents attestation certificate and confirmation of school cert result to President Buhari. What will the naysayers say next?”
