The Peoples Democratic Party in Abia State has noted with pains and sadness the unfortunate yet avoidable fire outbreak that engulfed Nkwo-Ngwa market in Aba-South Local Government Area, last Saturday.
The Party, in a release issued by its Publicity Secretary; Sir Don Ubani, expressed sympathy with the affected traders and stakeholders in the market over losses attendant on the fire outbreak.
The Party regretted that at a time when people are confronted with financial challenges arising from general economic situation in Nigeria, traders should have been spared this unfortunate episode.
The Party, while praying that God would come to their aid, advised the traders to be more careful in managing situations that could lead to future similar occurrences.
