Only seven All Progressives Congress, APC, governors reportedly on Sunday, attended President Muhammadu Buhari’s inaugural campaign launch as he seeks re-election in 2019, at the banquet hall of the presidential villa.
They are governors Tanko Al-Makura of Nasarawa; Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos state; Yahaya Bello of Kogi and Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun. Others are Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara; Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi; and Aminu Masari of Katsina State.
Also in attendance were the Vice – President, Yemi Osinbajo, and the wife of the President, Aisha Buhari.
The event was also witnessed by cabinet ministers, APC members of the National Assembly and several groups of the president’s campaign organisation from within and outside Abuja.
