The National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress(APC) is under pressure from sources at the Presidency to Substitute the name of the President of Masters Energy oil and Gas Dr Uche Ogah as the Governorship Candidate of the APC in Abia State.
Ogah who emerged as the candidate of the Party in Abia State Despite a Court order stopping the Faction of the Party under Hon Donatus Nwankpa is struggling to remove the legal logjam.
But just Yesterday, The FCT High Court presided by Hon Justice Amaka Ogbonna, declared Chief Ikechi Emenike as the rightful candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the 2019 Governorship Election in Abia State.
The Independent National Electoral Commission set December 2nd 2018 as date for Substitution of Candidates.
The Leadership of the Party may in obedience to the Judgement of the Court, substitute the name of Dr Uche Ogah with that of Chief Ikechi Emenike.
