In fulfilment of his promise to the Youths of Bende Ward in Bende LGA two weeks ago, the Senator representing the good people of Abia North Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator Dr. Mao Ohuabunwa today empowered some Youths in Bende town with life changing items, such as, Generators & clippers, grinding machines, hair dryers etc.
Speaking during the event, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa represented by the Executive Chairman of Bende LGA, Chief Sir Gabriel Okereke Elendu ( Enyioha) thanked the people of Bende LGA for their support for him and the Government of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu, and asked them to continue to support PDP for the Development of Bende LGA and promised to empower more Youths.
Presenting the empowerment items to the beneficiaries, Former T. C. Chairman of Bende LGA, and a Special Adviser to the Governor, Pastor Dike okechukwu (Eriwe-echeta) the PDP House of Assembly candidate for Bende South State Constituency, Chief Emmanuel Ndubuisi ( Ijiriji Bende) and the Coordinator of Follow Better Organization in Bende LGA, Hon. Prince Ibuchim Okorie eulogized Senator Mao Ohuabunwa for being a man of his words, on his own, Pastor Okechukwu Dike admonished the Youths to take Senator Mao Ohuabunwa as their own and work hard for his re-election, and that of the Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyanso and Chief Emmanuel Ndubuisi so that more good things will come.
Appreciating the Senator on behalf other Beneficiaries, Mr. Chibuisi Okorie and Mrs. Lynda Njoku thanked Senator Mao Ohuabunwa for fulfilling his promise to them and promised to work hard for the re-election of the Senator comes 2019 and all the candidates of the Peoples Democratic party (PDP), they said that it has become imperative for the people of Bende LGA to make a decision that will benefit the people of Bende and PDP remains the solution, they also challenged the people who are contesting agaist the candidates of PDP to show their scorecards on what they have done for the people of Bende when they were in Government.
