The national association of Arochukwu Students (NAAS) today paid a courtesy/ solidarity visit to the Senator representing Abia north at the National Assembly, Senator Dr. Mao Arukwe Ohuabunwa at his country home, Arochukwu.
Speaking, the President of the association, Comr. Praise Genesis said they came to thank Senator Mao for all the good works he has been doing in Abia north and to pledge their total support for his re-election Comes 2019. Comr. Praise also said that they are not unaware of the giant strides of the Senator especially in Education sector that has seen the Senate passed two important bills that was sponsored by Senator Mao Ohuabunwa that concerns Education in to law, which are Upgrading of ASCETA to a Federal institution and the Federal Polytechnic Item, construction of healthcare centers, Building and renovation of schools, giving out Scholarships, securing of jobs to Youths of Abia north etc.
Responding, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa thanked the students for the solidarity visit and promised not to disappoint them because himself was also a Youth and he understands the needs of Youths, Senator Mao used the opportunity to advise the Students to be good Ambassadors of Arochukwu and their families and avoid anything that will bring shame to Arochukwu.
