The second term bid of the Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator Mao Arukwe Ohuabunwa has received a boost as the entire people of Igbere clan in Bende LGA has thrown their weight behind him.
Endorsing the Senator during the Christmas visit to the people of Igbere by Senator Mao, Chief Emma Umokwe, Chief Osimiri Hon. Emeka and other Leaders, they said they are very happy with the Achievements of Senator Mao Ohuabunwa especially in zeal to Develop Abia North.
They said that they decided to support Senator Mao because it is necessary so he can continue the good works he has started as one good term deserves another.
Responding, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa thanked the people of Igbere for all the support they have been giving the Administration of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and the PDP in general, he promised not to disappoint them.
Senator Mao also eulogized them for their support towards the emergence of their own son and the candidate of PDP for Bende Federal Constituency, Dr. Desmond Chima Anyoso and ask them to support him by voting for him massively and all the candidates of PDP. Senator Mao said that Dr. Anyaso means freedom, liberation, progress and a breath of fresh air for the people of Igbere Kingdom.
Highlights of the event were distribution of bags of rice, wrappers and other items, while the event was attended by the PDP House of Representatives Candidate for Bende Federal Constituency, Dr. Chima Anyoso, members of PDP, Follow Better Organization and other notable Dignitaries.
