The entire people of Ubibia Community in Bende LGA has endorsed the Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator Mao Arukwe Ohuabunwa for a second term in the Senate.
Speaking during a large meeting of the community attended by decision makers of Ubibia, the Paramount Ruler of Ubibia, HRH. Eze Ise Boniface said they decided to Endorsed Senator Mao Ohuabunwa in other to reciprocate all his good works in Ubibia Community, especially donation of science Laboratory equipment to Ubibia Secondary School by the Senator, carrying out of palliative work at Ubibia road by the Senator, rural electrification Project to boost power at Ndiuwa Ubibia, empowerment of sons and daughters of Ubibia and Scholarship that was given to miss Chinemerem Okoro of Ubibia Secondary School, etc.
Also speaking, the Youth leader and the woman Leader of the community described Senator Mao as a great son of Ubibia who has the interest of Ubibia people at heart and promised to massively vote for him and other PDP candidates.
Responding, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa represented by the state Assistant Secretary of PDP in Abia State, Chief J. J. Okoro ( Enyioha of Ihechiowa) thanked the people of Ubibia for their support and prayers for him, Senator Mao said that what the people of Ubibia has just seen in their community was just a tip of the iceberg compare to what they will see during his second term, he promised to do more for the Development of Ubibia and Abia North in general because that’s the only way to thank Almighty God and the people for their support.
Highlight of the event was prayer of blessing and protection for the Senator by the people of Ubibia Community while the event witnessed the presence of the former Deputy chairman of Bende LGA, Hon. Chief Goodwin Ndom and other notable Dignitaries.
