A Rivers State High Court has ordered that the murder trial of sacked Factional Rivers State APC Chairman, Mr Ojukaye Flag Amachree proceed in his absence.
The Application for trial in absentia was granted on Wednesday in Port Harcourt.
The court ruled that the Order is to be pasted in a conspicuous part of the High Court Complex.
Also the order is to be published in at least 2 national dailies 30 days prior to the Commencement of trial in absentia.
The trial has been adjourned to 28th March 2019.
Sacked Rivers State APC Chairman, Mr Ojukaye Flag Amachree despite bench warrants and summons, have been running from Justice.
Case Number PH/1664/CR/2016 is between the State and Ojukaye Flag Amachree.
