INEC In Abia Hands Over Blank Result Sheets To APC:

PDP in Abia State has observed with consternation and worry that the Independent National Electoral Commission; INEC, has unlawfully handed over Blank Result Sheets meant for tomorrow’s elections to leaders of APC in the State.
The Party wishes to remind INEC that, as an Umpire, it has the constitutional responsibility of creating a level playing field for all the Parties and Candidates contesting in elections conducted by her.
A situation where the Electoral Body has already given Blank Result Sheets to leaders of All Progressives Congress in the State, to fill whatever pleases them as Results of Elections Yet To Be Conducted, is an open invitation to anarchy and shall not be tolerated by the PDP.
PDP in Abia State urgently urges the Resident Electoral Commissioner of Independent National Electoral Commission in the State to retrieve the Blank Result Sheets, forthwith.
Abia State has been very peaceful and PDP would want to use this medium to let the world know that if law and order break down by tomorrow, which is most likely to happen if this illegality is not addressed, the Independent National Electoral Commission and All Progressives Congress in the State should be held responsible and accountable.
