It’s laughable when some elements tries so hard to sway the innocent public by dishing out lies that only exist within their minds.
But, it is wickedness when it becomes their trademark, when the constantly shun out lies to the same people they have kept in the darkness for too long.
Yesterday, we read the news making the round, where the writer, insinuated that Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, who won the just concluded Senate of Abia North, is giving conditions to Dr. Uche Ogah, the Abia State APC gubernatorial candidate, and the best choice of Abians, before he will throw his support.
The writer further went deeper to state that a meeting was held in an undisclosed location in Abuja. This is also laughable.
The question is;
(I) Does Dr. Ogah need a secret place, to have a meeting with Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu who is his party man and now an elected Senator of his Senatorial zone?
(2) Did Dr. Uche Ogah give Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu conditions before he delivered his Local Government on the day of the Presidential and National Assembly elections?
(3) Did Dr. Uche Ogah give Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu conditions before he asked (USOM) his political structure to ensure Orji Uzor Kalu emerged victorious at the polls across Abia North?
Common sense will tell any reader from Abia that it is the emergence of Dr. Ogah as the APC gubernatorial flag bearer that brought about the popularity and public acceptance of APC in Abia.
Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu has contested this Senate for 2 times without winning, and only won in this 3rd time. Isn’t it obvious that it’s because Dr. Ogah is in APC?
Dr. Uche Ogah is a successful businessman whose campaign funding has been solely handled and has never relied on any godfather to succeed in any of his planning. His main base has always been the masses and the suffering Abians.
Dr. Uche Ogah is running a masses oriented project than that of the elites, part of the reasons he loves President Muhammad BUHARI’s political ideology. He is not of the elites but the masses.
The truth is that, every right thinking person in Abia that read that piece of figment of imagination from a writer who is bent on causing disaffection between Orji Uzor Kalu and Uche Ogah, who are now the PDP/APGA nightmare in Abia, knows that it’s a propaganda taken too far.
Dr. Uche Ogah and Dr. Orji Uzor are same party men and must have to work together to ensure a total victory for the party. No amount of propaganda will affect the time and change that has come to stay in Abia.
If there is any candidate in the coming gubernatorial election that has conditions tied to his candidacy, Abians already know and have seen. If we had a free man as Dr. Ogah In Abia government house as our governor since 2015;-
(I) Ebonyi State would have been jostling to meet up with Abia in infrastructural development.
(ii) Anambra State, would have been struggling to meet up with Abia in salary payment and wages clearance.
(iii) Imo and Enugu State would have been trying their best to compete with Abia in tourism and leisure business.
To Move Abia forward from 2019, Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah is the answer.
